Tired of stirring your breakfast oats like a diligent chef? With just the press of a button, head off through your morning routine and return to find a steaming bowl of delightfully cooked cracked (aka Steel Cut) oats, perfectly textured for your best start to a great day!

Ingredients

1 cup Raw Cracked Oats

2 cups water

Pinch of salt (optional)

Topping Ideas

Heavy cream + fresh fruit

Butter + maple syrup

Almond butter + bananas

Directions

  1. Add 1 cup of Raw Cracked Oats to electric pressure cooker pot.

  2. To remove oat hulls, submerge oats in cool water, swirl with your hand, and pour off the hulls that rise to the surface. Repeat two to three times until no more hulls remain. Drain excess water.

  3. Add 2 cups fresh water and salt to the wet oats.

  4. Place pot in an electric pressure cooker and close the lid. Ensure venting knob is in sealing position. Pressure Cook at High Pressure for 2 minutes, then allow natural release for 10 minutes.

  5. Manually release remaining pressure.

  6. Stir then share and enjoy!

Makes 2-3 servings.
